Dimick To Cumulus: Radio vet John Dimick has been named VP/Programming Operations for Cumulus. Reporting to SVP/Content & Programming Mike McVay, Dimick starts June 1. Most recently SVP/Programming & Operations for Lincoln Financial, his background includes stops in Salt Lake City, Seattle, San Diego and New York.

"He joins Doug Hamand and Greg Frey as a VPPO," McVay says. "The three of them, along with our format specialists and analysts, will provide even more tools to our managers and PDs to employ when programming their stations." Dimick adds, "I'm very happy that Mike McVay wouldn't buy my 'retirement from the industry' thinking! What the new senior management team at Cumulus is building is extraordinary and compelling."
