Hall In: "If you knew Lisa, it was all about raising the bar. She was relentless. Maybe the most disciplined, committed, creative, person I've ever met in my life. Once she put her mind to it, she was all in." That's Curtis Pres./COO Trip Savery on the late Lisa McKay during last night's (6/20) Country Radio Hall of Fame Dinner and Awards ceremony in Nashville. The class of 2018 inductees were: Andy Ritchie and Alison Mencer (formerly WIVK/Knoxville's Andy & Alison), KKNU/Eugene, OR's Bill Barrett, Tim Fox and Tracy Berry (Barrett, Fox And Berry), Steve Harmon and Scott Evans (formerly of KPLX/Dallas and WXTU/Philadelphia's Harmon And Evans), Albright, O'Malley & Brenner's Michael O'Malley, and McKay (former Curtis Media/Raleigh VP/Programming and WQDR PD). Additionally, Steve Wariner was honored with the CRB Artist Career Achievement Award, and Emmis New York SVP/MM Charlie Morgan was the recipient of the President's Award. Read all about it in Monday's (6/25) Country Aircheck Weekly.
