Lunar Rotation: Cumulus KUBL/Salt Lake City PD Travis Moon will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission and Neil Armstrong becoming the first man to walk on the moon with his own Travis Moon Walk. Beginning tomorrow (7/16), Moon will walk from Provo, UT to Ogden, UT, covering more than 80 miles and benefiting Shriner's Hospitals for Children Salt Lake City. Moon will share the hospital's mission and stories along the way as he invites listeners to donate here. He will walk from 7am until 2pm daily before cooling down to do his afternoon show. Moon's walk is slated to end Saturday (7/20), which mirrors the actual time frame of the Apollo 11 mission. "It is going to be a long, tough walk, and the exciting part is the unknown if I can actually do this physically," says Moon. Tune in to the KUBL Facebook page here to follow Moon's journey.
