A Capitol Idea: Former Entercom WUSN/Chicago morning co-host Katie Bright (CAT 6/23) has joined Capitol as Dir./Midwest Promotion. She succeeds Brent Jones, who exited last month (CAT 6/24). “[Katie] brings hands-on experience and a vast knowledge of the evolving radio, media and recording businesses,” says VP/Promotion Bobby Young. Prior to her time with WUSN, Bright spent seven years with Warner/WMN, rising to Dir./National Radio & Streaming Promotion before her departure last June (CAT 6/28/19). “I’ve deeply missed the relationships, the music, the hustle, the teamwork, the highs and lows,” says Bright.
