Bits & Pieces: Hubbard WIRK/West Palm Beach morning team Tim Leary and Chelsea Taylor held a virtual event benefitting the Palm Beach County Food Drive resulting in a $6,800 donation from WIRK listeners. “We set a goal of $2,000 to help contribute,” Leary tells Country Aircheck. “Then we got a call from Hicks & Motto law firm who said they were matching our goal with another $2,000. It was awesome to see the community come together to help buy meals for the food bank!” The Palm Beach County Food Bank can purchase three meals for every $1 donated, which results in 20,400 meals being contributed via WIRK’s efforts.
