» Grow Your Ray To Better Billings:
 Former KNIX/Phoenix PD Ray Massie has been named PD of Gap West's Billings, MT Country-Classic Rock combo KCTR & KMHK.
He started yesterday and succeeds Mark Hill (CA Weekly 2/1) as KCTR's PD; KMHK had been without a PD for the past three months.
In addition to his Billings duties, Massie will also do some consulting work with Albright & O'Malley's Jaye Albright, who consults KCTR.

» Reilly Departs:
 Clear Channel's WMAD/Madison PD Jon Reilly has resigned after more than six years with the cluster, where he also programmed Top 40 WZEE.
Reilly assumed WMAD's programming when the station flipped Country in December 2004.

» Market Fluctuation:
 Clear Channel/Melbourne, FL Market Manager Scott Pritchett is relocating to the company's six-station Columbia, SC cluster to serve in the same capacity.
His purview will include Country WCOS.
Pritchett replaces Tom Bustard, who left the company in November.

» Ferris In The Land:
 Promotion vet Dawn Ferris will join Broken Bow as Mgr./Midwest Promotion Monday (2/8).
She replaces Bill Heltemes, who joined Golden Music/Nashville for the same region last month ( CAT 1/20).
Ferris has spent the last year-and-a-half as a stay-at-home mom and previously worked the Midwest for Arista/Nashville and Equity.

» A Whole New World:
 The Zac Brown Band, Julianne Hough and Sugarland were among the singers and celebrities at yesterday's (2/1) Los Angeles recording session for a reprise of "We Are The World." The new cut will benefit Haitian relief efforts.
Wyclef Jean, Celine Dion, Tony Bennett, Kanye West, Barbra Streisand, Jeff Bridges and Vince Vaughn also participated.
"It's like standing in the classic records section at the Turtles music store looking at all the covers," Brown told the LA Times.
"It's ridiculous, and it's wonderful and for a good cause." According to Reuters, none of the artists in the original 1985 song were asked to participate in yesterday's project, which was reportedly filmed in 3-D.
» Finding Their Voice:
 Nearly one in six U.S.
radio station GMs were women in 2009, according to the latest Gender Analysis Study by the Mentoring and Inspiring Women In Radio Group (MIW).
The 16.2% figure is up slightly from 15.8% in '08 and from 14.9% in 2004.
However, women program only 11.1% of all stations, compared to 10.7% five years ago.
Women were sales managers in 30.5% of all stations, which was similar to 2008.
