 Maverick Media's WAXX/Eau Claire, WI morning co-host Katie Bright will join WSIX/Nashville's The House Foundation April 1.
She adds some estrogen to the show currently voiced by Gerry House and Mike Bohan, with producer Richard Falklen.
Longtime newsman Al Voecks and sports guy Duncan Stewart exited at the end of 2009 ( CAT 12/15).

 After four years with American Country Countdown with Kix Brooks, industry vet Denise Nichols has exited.
"Due to continuing budget cuts at Citadel, my position was eliminated," Nichols says.

» Fest Give Us For The Rest Of Us:
 The first batch of 2010 CMA Music Festival performers include Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, Martina McBride, Reba, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Darius Rucker, Keith Urban and Zac Brown Band.
They join Carrie Underwood, who was announced as a performer last week, for the June 10-13 event in Nashville.
CMA has also launched Music Fest MySpace and Facebook pages and will accept concertgoer stories and photos on CMAfest.com.

 A label spokesperon confirms that Arista/Nashville and Jason Michael Carroll have parted ways.
Carroll tweeted today (2/18), " Unfortunately, Arista and I have decided to go our separate ways ...
I'm glad to have had the opportunity to be there for the last four years." Carroll continues, "There are plans to go back into the studio and record new music the second week of March.

 Kudos to KASE/Austin OM/PD Mac Daniels and staff for raising more than $292,000 during its 2 0th Annual KASE 101 Make-A-Wish Radiothon last weekend.

 The 2010 Grammys On The Hill Awards will honor Garth Brooks, Sen.
Dick Durbin (D-IL) and Rep.
Darrell Issa (R-CA) for their work to improve the environment for music creators.
The ceremony will be held April 14 at the U.S.
Capitol.
» Outside My Reality:
 Lyric Street's Sarah Buxton and CMT have partnered to offer the channel's first online "augmented reality" experience.
When her self-titled album hits stores next Tuesday (2/23), fans can access Buxton's "Outside My Window" in 3-D by printing a symbol on CMT.com, logging on to sarahbuxton.com/ar and holding the printout in front of their computer's webcam.

» Decade Bling:
 The RIAA has listed the Eagles, George Strait, Garth Brooks, Shania Twain and Taylor Swift among the artists who have received the most gold and platinum certifications over the last decade.
The Eagles had 48 certs followed by Strait, who received the most male album certifications with 29.
Swift had the most female digital song certifications with 25, and "Love Story" tied with Lady Gaga's "Just Dance" for the highest-certified song (4x platinum).
Twain's Up! was the highest-certified album by a female artist (11x platinum).
And Brooks was recognized for being the best-selling solo artist in history with 128 million units to date.
Also of note, the first platinum record of the last decade was LeAnn Rimes' self-titled debut.
