» Al B There For You: Veteran programmer Al Brock has been hired as PD for Citadel WIOV-FM/Lancaster, PA, effective Wednesday (8/29). Formerly PD at Cumulus Oldies WRQQ/Nashville, Brock steps in for R.J. McKay, who moved to New Jersey last month to be closer to his wife. Brock will also program Sports WIOV-AM.

» Hot Air: The PD chair at Entercom KKWF (The Wolf)/Seattle may soon be filled. All parties are mum, but look for Citadel WGKX/Memphis PD Lance Tidwell to take the posting recently vacated by Rob "Possum" Walker, who stepped down last month to focus on an APD/MD/afternoon jock role.

» For Your Netertainment: CMT Cross Country:Jack Ingram and Miranda Lambert has premiered exclusively on the network’s online broadband channel CMT Loaded four days before the television debut Friday (8/31). Catch the hour-long program online here.

» Hall Bearers: Two tunesmiths and one songwriter/artist will be inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame Oct. 14. Those included in the songwriter/artist category are J.J. Cale, Lester Flatt & Earl Scruggs, Amy Grant, Tony Joe White and Hank Williams, Jr.. The ten songwriters nominated are Paul Craft, Bob DiPiero, Kye Fleming, Larry Henley, Mac McAnally, Earl “Peanutt" Montgomery, Bob Morrison, Thom Schuyler, L.E. White and Lawton Williams.
