Induction & Convention: The CRB 2010 Country Music DJ and Radio Hall of Fame inductees, as we reported in this afternoon's Breaking News and via Twitter, are: DJs Bill Bailey, Laurie DeYoung and Rudy Fernandez; and Radio honorees Mike Hammond, Dan Halyburton and the late Cy Blumenthal. Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner! Submissions for the 45th Annual ACM Awards radio categories are now being accepted here through Dec. 11 at noon PT. Major, Large, Medium and Small Market stations and personalities, as well as National personalities, can choose their best material from Jan. 1, 2009 to Dec. 11, 2009 for consideration. In a change, only current ACM members may submit for each category; the deadline for new applications is Dec. 1.

U PD: A new partnership between Citadel Media and Listener Driven Radio (LDR) will enable the group owner to venture into "crowdcasting" that allows consumers to help program their favorite radio stations in real time via the Web or mobile devices. Listeners are able to request songs, influence playlists and upload or vote for new music through station websites, smartphones, Facebook, MySpace, Friendster and 80 other social networks. Created by McVay Media and radio executive Lee Zapis, LDR will now be available to Citadel's 37 Country properties.

Warped Speed: The people behind the alternative rock-meets-extreme sports Vans Warped Tour are going country with the multi-stage Country Throwdown Tour 2010. Heading for amphitheaters nationwide May 13-June 20, the bill includes Montgomery Gentry, Jamey Johnson, Little Big Town, Jack Ingram, Eric Church, Eli Young Band, Jonathan Singleton & The Grove, the Lost Trailers, Ryan Bingham, Emily West and more. Alan Jackson won Male Vocalist, Sara Evans was named Female Vocalist, Zac Brown Band received New Talent, and Kenny Chesney and Mac McAnally won Duo for "Down The Road."
