Country Aircheck
 November 10, 2009

» Rest Stop: Ordered to rest her voice, a very disappointed Taylor Swift skipped her scheduled rounds at this morning's Premiere CMA Awards Radio Remote. This afternoon, however, she shrugged off the restriction and spent 90 minutes visiting with stations. "I just couldn't let radio down," Swift told WDSY/Pittsburgh's Stoney Richards. Our report in yesterday's Country Aircheck Weekly about Swift inexplicably rehearsing both "Fifteen" and "Forever And Always" seems to be cleared up by indications she will indeed have two performance slots on Wednesday's CMA telecast. In other news, hundreds of fans crowded the Sommet Center Plaza at downtown Nashville's Fifth and Broadway this morning (11/10) to watch awards co-hosts Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood perform a concert broadcast in part on Good Morning America. Watch Paisley play "American Saturday Night" and Underwood debut "Temporary Home."
