» So They All Rolled Over And None Fell Out: The Tony & Kris syndicated morning show launched today (11/16) with the help of Cumulus SVP/Programming Jan Jeffries (pictured). The show was heard on six initial affiliates: WWFF/Huntsville, AL, KAYD/Beaumont, TX, WPCK/Green Bay, WI, KTOP-FM/Topeka, KS, WKAK/Albany, GA and WKOR/Columbus, MS. At WWFF, PD/morning host Buzz Stephens moved to PM drive, replacing Luke Aaron who is now handling middays, a shift previously split by the two jocks. KAYD PD/morning co-host JB picks up the vacant 9am-noon slot, while co-host Skeeter handles the previously unmanned noon-3pm shift. WPCK morning host Michael Moon has been named Production Dir. and is voicetracking PM drive on sister Oldies WOGB. In Topeka, KTOP-FM morning host Michael Newman moves to sister Rock KDVV for the same shift. WKAK drops Moby In The Morning. WKOR PD/morning host Brian Taylor moves to afternoons, replacing Chris Asa, who moves to production.

» Neal Stands: Buddy Lee Attractions SVP Kevin Neal has been upped to Pres. following Tony Conway's resignation Friday (CAT 11/13). A 20-year BLA vet, Neal is responsible for Jason Aldean, Colt Ford and Ash Bowers, and was named the 2006 and 2008 IEBA Talent Agent of the Year as well as 2007 NATD Talent Dir. of the Year. "The changes we’re about to undergo as a company will be made to benefit our client roster," says Neal. » Counting Down: Premiere's The Jeff Foxworthy Countdown will cease production Dec. 27 after 10 years on the air. Premiere has not renewed Foxworthy's contract for the show according to Foxworthy's management Parallel Ent., and has started notifying stations of its termination. Premiere is offering The Crook and Chase Countdown in markets where available.

» COO Coup: Westport, CT-based Connoisseur Media has promoted four-year VP/Ops David Bevins to COO, replacing Peter Kosann, who left the company in March. Previously VP/GM for Radio One/Cleveland and Station Manager/DOS for WKSC/Chicago, Bevins had worked for the first iteration of Connoisseur between 1993-2000 as GM in Quad Cities, IA and Rockford, IL prior to the group's acquisition by Cumulus. Reformed in 2004, Connoisseur owns 20 stations, including Country KVWF/Wichita, WTWF/Erie, PA and KPBR/Billings, MT.

» Win The City: Former Mercury Coord./Promotion Lindsay Walleman has joined CO5/Nashville as Midwest regional. She succeeds Karen Durkot, who left Friday (11/13) for Ryko Group (CAT 11/11). » KDBL Changes: GapWest's Country KDBL/Yakima, WA morning teamers Thane and Tom will be covering PM drive until further notice. They're filling the shift vacated by Jenifer Wilde's exit Friday (11/13).

» No Money Down: A debt-restructuring request by EMI Group owner Terra Firma Capital Partners to Citigroup to waive some of its £2.6 billion ($4.34 billion) in loans has been declined, according to today's Wall Street Journal. TFCP had offered to invest approximately £1 billion ($1.67 billion) further into EMI in exchange for Citigroup forgiving a similar proportion, a sum reportedly more than the bank was willing to accommodate. The recorded music unit, EMI Music, is seeking to avoid defaulting on covenants concerning a £950 million ($1.59 billion) loan that is due in early 2010.

» Trace Is Of Powder: Capitol's Trace Adkins will serve as a two-year spokesperson for BC Headache Powder. Adkins will participate in multi-media ad campaigns and embark on an 80-city 2010 tour sponsored by the brand. "My relationship with BC Headache Powder is personal and runs deep," Adkins says. "I still remember when my grandfather gave me my first BC. I even remember the product advertising jingle from the '70s." Learn more here.

» The Sheriff Of Rockingham: Lyric Street's Bucky Covington is releasing his digital EP Live From Rockingham tomorrow (11/17). The five-song album features his current single and Nickelback cover "Gotta Be Somebody" and live cuts of "A Different World," "It's Good To Be Us" and "I'll Walk," which were recorded during his recent hometown concert. » Chronicle: Our condolences to the friends and family of former KASE & KVET/Austin owner Roy Butler, who died from complications resulting from a fall on Nov. 7. He was 83. Butler also served two terms as mayor of Austin in the '70s. Read more about his life here.
