» That's Jared: Clear Channel/Augusta, GA VP/Market Manager Jared Stehney has moved to the company's Chattanooga, TN cluster in the same capacity, overseeing three stations including Country WUSY and Classic Country WLND. Prior to Augusta, Stehney served as NSM for Premiere Radio and Clear Channel/Nashville. "The results he achieved while managing our Augusta stations were exceptional despite a very challenging environment," says CC SVP Dave Crowl. "We are confident that his leadership and enthusiasm will provide some exciting months ahead for Chattanooga."

» Tots Shots: Bonneville's WUBE/Cincinnati Chris Carr & Company collected 1,641 toys and $2,232 with the local U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Unit for Toys For Tots. Camp Carr For Kids was set-up in Florence, KY from 6am Dec. 3 to noon Dec. 5, where the morning show was put through a series of Marine Corps drills to attract donations.


» Check This Out: The CMA made its largest music education donation to date by giving $1,066,632 to Nashville public schools. 19/BNA's Kellie Pickler and CMA Chairman-elect Steve Moore presented the check to Dir./Metro Nashville Public Schools Dr. Jesse Register with Nashville Symphony Pres./CEO Alan Valentine and Mayor Karl Dean in attendance during a Keep The Music Playing concert last night (12/8). The funds come from the 2009 CMA Music Festival and will be used to build music labs and purchase more than 2,500 instruments. The total also includes an endowment gift for the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum's Words and Music program and travel costs paid for 40 W.O. Smith/Nashville Community School of Music students who attended a country-themed musical event at the White House last July.

» Along For The Wide: BBR's Jason Aldean will extend his Wide Open tour in 2010 with a 30-date run beginning Jan. 22 in Greenville, SC. Scheduled markets include Austin, Salt Lake City and Lincoln, NE. Eric Church will open the Greenville, SC concert and Luke Bryan will open all other dates.

» Shoes To Match: The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum has opened the Reba spotlight exhibit "Reba McEntire: Put On Your Red Dress, Baby" to run until June 13, 2010. The exhibit features the Sandi Spika Borchetta dress she wore during her and Linda Davis' "Does He Love You" performance at the 1993 CMA Awards.

» The Prize Is Right: The Nobel Peace Prize Concert featuring Toby Keith will be streamed live Friday (12/11) on CNN.com. Joining Keith will be Natasha Bedingfield, Wyclef Jean, Donna Summer, Lang Lang and others. Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith will host. The concert airs live from Oslo at 8pm.
