Yes I'm Only A Bill: Longtime Mentor WWBR/Big Rapids, MI morning host Bill Beckwith is retiring after more than 40 years with the station group, the last 20 on 'WBR. He started his radio career in 1974 at sister WBRN-AM, which then carried an Easy Listening format. "I may call some high school football or even do music for events, but the overall plan is to spend more time with my girlfriend and to work on my bad habits, like smoking!" Beckwith tells Country Aircheck. "It's been a great run and the attention has been surprising." Wisconsin radio vets and husband/wife duo Rob & Louise will succeed Beckwith Monday (11/30).
