In The Events Of: Edison Research's CRS 2016 radio research presentation "Ear Wars" will be presented by the company's Larry Rosin and Megan Lazovick Tuesday (2/9). The project, which highlights urgency as radio's top competitive advantage, surveyed more than 1,500 listeners and includes one-on-one interviews with listeners and broadcasters from WXTU/Philadelphia, WIVK/Knoxville and WTHI/Terre Haute, IN. "This presentation will walk programmers through every element of their programming day with an eye toward instilling 'fear of missing out' into everything they do, from music to air talent content to community involvement, and even your marketing," Rosin says.

Big Machine Label Group's Jennifer Nettles, Justin Moore, Drake White, Tara Thompson and Tucker Beathard will perform at the CRS 2016 luncheon Wednesday (2/10). "This year, our first at the Omni, will be a special one, and for this reason we wanted to be at the heart of it all," says BMLG SVP/Partnership Marketing & Promotion Strategy John Zarling. "With Jennifer, Justin, Tara, Drake and Tucker, this hour of music will spotlight some of the most compelling music coming out of the label group this year."
