Gender Cards: Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio Group's (MIW) 2015 Gender Analysis Study of 11,201 AM and FM radio stations shows 17.3% (1,878) have women in GM positions. That's down from 17.4% in 2014, but up from 14.9% in 2004. The best management opportunities in radio continue to be in sales management, with 30.5% occupied by women. Programming roles represent the greatest challenge, as just 10.9% are occupied by women. The average is slightly higher in the top 100 markets at 11.9%. More here.
