Triple Hey: CMA Triple Play Awards were presented at yesterday's (2/3) CMA Songwriter's Luncheon to Rhett Akins, Ross Copperman, Zach Crowell, Chris DeStefano, Ashley Gorley, Florida Georgia Line's Tyler Hubbard, Sam Hunt, Brett James, The Cadillac Three's Jaren Johnston, FGL's Brian Kelley, Luke Laird, Hillary Lindsey, Shane McAnally, Josh Osborne and Old Dominion's Matthew Ramsey, Trevor Rosen and Brad Tursi. The awards are given to songwriters who have three No. 1 songs in a 12-month period. Gorley is the first to receive three Triple Play awards at once, having nine chart toppers, bringing his total awards to seven. Copperman, DeStefano and McAnally each received two trophies for their six No. 1 songs.
