Chronicle: Former radio and record veteran Rick Cardarelli died unexpectedly Monday (2/20) in Stow, OH from complications of MS. He was 66. Cardarelli spent 17 years at WSLR/Akron as PD and on the air, and 12 years on the promotion side with Curb. Calling hours will be Sunday (2/26) 2 to 6pm at the Dunn-Quigley Stow Chapel, 3333 Kent Road. Services are Monday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, with burial following at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to be made to the MS Society.
