Heatherly Passes: Industry veteran of more than 40 years Bob Heatherly died suddenly today (6/19) at his Nashville home. Heatherly joined RCA in 1971 as a sales rep in St. Louis and rose to Director/National Country Promotion for RCA/Nashville. After leaving RCA in 1985, Heatherly joined R&R/Nashville as Manager/National Sales. He was named VP/Sales & Marketing for Atlantic/Nashville in 1989. He formed Music City Records in 2001. Burial and services will be held in his home state of Arkansas, near his family, with a celebration of life to be held in Nashville at a later date. He is survived by his wife of almost 21 years, Laura, who is TJ Martell Foundation CEO.
