Rule School: The Federal Communications Commission voted to eliminate the Newspaper/Broadcast Cross-Ownership Rule and Radio/Television Cross-Ownership Rule. It means a company can now own newspapers, radio and televison stations in a market and that companies can now own up to two television and six radio stations or one television and seven radio stations in a market. Congress requires the commission to review its broadcast ownership rules every four years. More here.
