Bo Knows: As reported via Breaking News, Alpha/Dayton, OH OM, Country WCLI PD & Rhythmic Format Captain “Bo Matthews” Gutierrez has been named OM/PD for recently launched Alpha Country KBAY/San Jose & KKDV/Walnut Creek, CA (CAT 4/5). He will also oversee programming for Top 40 sister KEZR. “Bo will be based in Nashville but will be in the market at least one week per month,” MM David Drutz tells Country Aircheck. “He is relinquishing his Ohio duties to focus on our stations.” Matthews has served as interim PD for seven months. He joined Alpha in 2018 (CAT 2/1/18) after more than 13 years with iHeartMedia, where he rose to SVP/Programming for the Cincinnati market.
