» The Thunder Rolls: Graham Artist Management's Herb Graham and Doc Gonzales have launched Country Thunder Records. Joining the Nashville-based label for promotion are radio and record vets Rick Baumgartner, Jim Dorman and Dave Kirth. Country Thunder's first signing is former Warner Bros./Nashville artist Jamie Lee Thurston. The first single, "People Out There," will arrive at radio within the next week and have a mid-April impact date.

» Decision '07: Initial performers confirmed for the 2007 CMT Music Awards include Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw, Carrie Underwood, Martina McBride, Suglarland and Dierks Bentley. The fan-voted awards show will air live on Monday, April 16 at 8pm ET from Nashville.
