Port Whole: Big Machine Label Group's BMLG Records has been re-branded Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment. No staff or roster changes are involved, with Jimmy Harnen remaining Pres./CEO. It's the third name for the imprint, which was founded as a joint venture called Republic Nashville in 2009 (CAT 6/5/09), then changed to BMLG Records in 2016 (CAT 8/1/16) after Big Machine Label Group acquired full ownership. Nashville Harbor's artist roster includes Riley GreenBrett Young, Chris Janson, Lady A, Greylan James and Shane Profitt. Janson's new radio single, "Whatcha See Is Whatcha Get," will be the first release under the new name. Says BMLG Chairman/CEO Scott Borchetta, "Since its inception, this label has been an exercise in experimentation and innovation, and I have no doubt that the possibilities are endless for this team."
