Chronicle: Saga WCKN/Charleston, SC morning host T.J. Phillips passed June 8. He was 66. Phillips had been on the air in Charleston more than 30 years, including 25 years at WEZL where he also spent time as PD. He joined WCKN in 2016 (CAT 11/7/16) and was inducted into the Low Country Music Hall of Fame the same year. No word on services.

Former radio programmer and Monument Records and 550 Music Southwest Regional Mike Ring died May 27 in Roanoke, TX. He was 66. His radio programming experience included KHTT/Tulsa. Full obituary here.
