Musgraves, Akins NMPA Icons
Bridges Over Water: Kacey Musgraves and Rhett Akins will be recognized as National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA)'s 2025 Songwriter Icons (CAT 5/21) at Wednesday's (6/11) invite-only Annual Meeting in New York City. Musgraves will be celebrated with a performance of two of her songs by Leon Bridges, and Thomas Rhett will honor his father with a medley.
Dan + Shay and MÅRIAH will participate in the 2025 Songwriters Hall of Fame Induction and Awards Dinner Thursday (6/12) in New York City. Ashley Gorley is among this year's inductees (CAT 1/22).
