Lacy Named Sole Chair/President At Renamed Warner Records Nashville
Warner Music Nashville Co-Chair/Co-President Cris Lacy has been named sole Chair/President as her counterpart Gregg Nadel shifts to a new, unspecified role within Warner Records Group. Concurrently, Warner Music Nashville has been rebranded as Warner Records Nashville.
"This rebrand marks an exciting new era for our flagship Nashville label — one that builds on everything that already makes it so special, guided by Cris’ extraordinary leadership," say CEO/Co-Chairman Aaron Bay-Schuck and COO/Co-Chairman Tom Corson. Adds Lacy, "[Nashville's] growing influence is permeating other genres, and is increasingly found front and center on the world's stage."
Lacy rose to Co-President with Ben Kline at the 2022 departure of Chair/CEO John Esposito (Breaking News 6/2/2022) after rising through the ranks to become the label's EVP/A&R. Replacing Kline, Nadel joined the Nashville division last year (Breaking News 9/24/2024) from Elektra.
