Gerry Wood passed May 3. He was 87. Wood started his career in radio in Louisville and Nashville before getting his degree in creative writing at Vanderbilt. He then worked for ASCAP before spending two spans with
Billboard, including as GM/Nashville. Wood was also "The Gamboling Gourmet" restaurant reviewer on WTVF-TV/Nashville. He later moved to Orlando and worked at Disney's Animal Kingdom before retiring. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Full obituary
