Life Note: D&D Endeavors founder David Nathan is mourning the passing of his son, Jack Devon Nathan, who died July 3 at the age of 19. The founder of HappyJack apparel brand, the younger Nathan was dedicated to raising awareness for mental health issues, and under his guidance, HappyJack donated thousands of dollars to the Child Mind Institute. Alpha KUPL/Portland APD/MD/afternoon personality Danny Dwyer is recovering after falling nine feet from the roof of his patio while doing a home improvement project. Dwyer suffered 11 broken ribs, a punctured lung, broken collar bone, 11 stitches in his left eye and was hooked to a chest tube to help drain blood from his lung. “Well, this is not how my 4th of July was supposed to be,” shares Dwyer via Instagram. He was scheduled for surgery today to repair the bone fractures above his eye and around his nasal cavity. Send well wishes to Dwyer here.
