Game Of Jones: As first reported via this morning's Breaking News, Big Machine Label Group SVP/A&R Allison Jones has been elevated to EVP and continues leading A&R for the company’s roster. Jones joined BMLG in 2008 and was elevated to her most recent post in 2013 (CAT 12/16/13). Her prior career stops include Universal, Giant, BNA and DreamWorks, where she and BMLG Pres./CEO Scott Borchetta were part of the original team in 1997. “[Allison] continually blows my mind at her knowledge of what’s going on in the marketplace, where the great songs and songwriters are and what new artists are circling,” says Borchetta.
