Cole Leaves KVET: Clear Channel's KVET/Austin morning personality Bob Cole, a member of the Texas Radio and Country Radio Halls of Fame, has left the station where he's been a fixture for more than two decades. PD Joel Burke said the two sides parted "amicably and on good terms" after they were unable to agree on a new contract. There's no word yet on a replacement for Cole. Co-host Bob Bender, who joined the show in April (CAT 4/26), will handle mornings solo until Cole's successor is named.
