Heart Blake Go Tell: Townsquare's KATP (The Kat)/Amarillo, TX re-launched as Blake-FM Saturday (1/14), with an emphasis on New Country. Townsquare/Amarillo OM Rick Andrews is overseeing day-to-day programming and tells Country Aircheck Blake-FM will run jockless for the near future, with live personalities to be added "down the road." Andrews says the station will continue to play some Texas Country in addition its current-based mix. Folger Media is consulting, assisted by KJKE (Jake-FM)/Oklahoma City PD Kevin Christopher, whose station is also a Folger client. Blake-FM's launch comes two weeks after three staffers exited, including PD Ryan McWilley (Twitter, Facebook 12/31). Check out the stream here.
