Streamsound Launches With Full Promo Team: Producer Byron Gallimore and industry vet Jim Wilkes have partnered to launch Streamsound Records. Formed in the fall, the company's official kick-off includes the unveiling of a full promotion team led by veteran label executive Mike Wilson (Columbia, Universal South). Regionals are Theresa Ford in the Southeast (Skyville, Lyric Street), Brad Howell in the Midwest (Show Dog-Universal, Broken Bow), Steve Pleshe in the West (RCA) and Jamice Jennings in the Southwest (Ride). The label's first artist, Jaida Dreyer, will have a late March or early April impact date for her first single, produced by Gallimore. A distribution deal has been reached with Sony.
