Comic Belief: CBS Radio's WQYK/Tampa morning personality and comedian Cledus T. Judd has joined Clear Channel's WTCR/Huntington, WV in the same capacity and alongside longtime morning hosts Judy Eaton and Clint McElroy. The move comes after an emotional Oct. 23 announcement on 'QYK in which Judd said he would be relocating to the Huntington area to be closer to his daughter; listen here. The new morning show, The Cledus T. Party with Judy and Clint will debut Monday, Nov. 19. "We've known Cledus for years and this is going to be terrific," says McElroy. As for WQYK, Judd tells Country Aircheck he'll remain a member of the Cledus, Dave and Veronica morning show, providing content remotely and visiting the market for various station events. "I'll still have a presence on the station," he says. "They're great folks and were kind enough to let me [move] where my daughter is." Reach Judd here.
