Houston Takes Us: As reported last night via Twitter and Facebook, Lincoln Financial's KYGO/Denver interim PD/afternoon personality Keola Lui-Kwan will join CBS Radio's KILT/Houston as APD/MD/afternoons effective Dec. 10. Keola joined KYGO in July (CAT 7/18) and assumed the interim PD role earlier this month following John Thomas' exit (CAT 11/6). Keola succeeds Brooke Meris as KILT's APD/MD following her move to Columbia for regional duties in October (CAT 10/8). On the air, he replaces former afternooner Steve Rixx, who exited in September (CAT 9/28). Prior to his move to Denver, Keola programmed AC KBFF/Portland and had served as MD/afternoons for then-Country KBWF/San Francisco. LF/Denver SVP/GM Bob Call tells Country Aircheck KYGO programming will now be overseen by SVP/Programming John Dimick, with afternoons handled by Rhythmic Top 40 clustermate KQKS midday personality Tony V. Meanwhile, KYGO is still searching for a PD and morning show; materials for both positions should be sent to Dimick here.
