Yesterday at this time, that result was still in doubt prior to a single donation of $10,000 by Big Machine Label Group President/CEO Scott Borchetta, which gave individual fundraiser Valory VP/Promotion George Briner an insurmountable lead of, wait for it ... $18,265. Team Thompson Square is also making a late rush, rising most recently to $11,336 and leading Team Casey James' $10,443 and the Warner Whiskers $9,265 in a close shave. There's a big, hairy Beard Bash scheduled for 5pm this evening at The Red Rooster on Demonbreun in Nashville to celebrate this year's success. We'll have final totals and trophy winners Monday.
