CC Launches Syndicated Country Morning Show: More details have emerged about Clear Channel's plans for a new morning show out of Nashville. As reported earlier this morning, WSIX/Nashville will serve as the flagship station for Premiere's nationally syndicated The Bobby Bones Show, which will transition from Clear Channel Top 40 stations to a number of the company's Country outlets. Bones and show members Lunchbox and Amy will debut on WSIX Feb. 18, originating the show from the company's 16th Ave. Nashville studios from 5-10am CT weekdays. Currently, he is based at CC's Top 40 KHFI/Austin; Premiere has syndicated his now discontinued Top 40 show since 2011.

Beginning Feb. 25, the show will bow on sister stations including KASE/Austin, KSD/St. Louis, KTGX/Tulsa, KYKR/Beaumont, WCKT/Ft. Myers, FL, WOBB/Albany, GA and WTXT/Tuscaloosa, AL. The KASE Bama, Rob & Heather morning show is moving across the hall to KVET. Websites in St. Louis and Tulsa showed local morning shows as of Sunday night – no details on their status was available at press time – with the other four stations carrying the Premiere-syndicated Big D & Bubba. Additionally, Premiere will launch the Country Top 30 With Bobby Bones, a four-hour countdown, the weekend of March 2-3, also originating from Nashville.
