CMA's Steve Moore Resigns: CMA CEO Steve Moore has resigned to pursue other business and philanthropic pursuits, effective June 30. Moore joined as interim director of the trade organization in Dec. 2009 (CAT 12/3/2009) and was officially named CEO in Aug. 2010 (Breaking News 8/19/2010). Prior to joining CMA, Moore served as SVP at AEG Live! concert promotion, special event and touring company. No word on plans for the open post.

"After nearly four years in this position, and given the phenomenal success that the CMA team has achieved, this seemed like an appropriate time to step aside and pursue other corporate and philanthropic opportunities," Moore says.
