Severe Party-Crasher: Weather forced Luke Bryan to cancel his concert at Isleta Amphitheater in Albuquerque Friday night (7/26). Cumulus' KRST OM/PD Kris Abrams tells Country Aircheck, "Florida Georgia Line were onstage and the weather turned on us fast. [It went] from beautiful to the apocalypse in literally minutes. An unexpected monsoon rolled in with 90mph winds and blinding rain. Car windows were broken from blowing debris; it was madness. The decision to cancel was quick and completely the right call. Reschedule info was out within 90 minutes on KRST's Facebook page, which literally became the virtual news desk of what was happening." The National Weather Service/Albuquerque dubbed the storm "one of the most intense rain, severe-wind producing storms in recent memory, if not on record" on its Twitter page. The concert has been rescheduled for Sept. 22 and all original tickets will be honored.
