Mike Is The New Black: As reported earlier via Twitter and Facebook, promotion vet Mike Wilson has joined Black River as Dir./National Promotion, replacing Brian Rhoades, who moves into the newly created position of Sr. Dir./Artist Promotion & Brand Development. "As Black River Entertainment continues to grow and integrate more into the music community, it is important for us to identify people and positions that will accomplish our next steps," says CEO Gordon Kerr. "Brian Rhoades and Mike Wilson have demonstrated the important qualities needed for their new positions and I'm looking forward to their contributions to the company." Wilson most recently spent a year with Streamsound (CAT 4/1); he also spent 18 years at RCA. Rhoades has been with Black River since 2011, with prior stops at Capitol and Sony/Nashville. Reach Wilson here and Rhoades here.
