Chronicle: Condolences are extended to the family and friends of radio vet Janet Roby, who passed away Friday (10/11) after a long battle with cancer. She was 56. Roby was a staple in Oklahoma City radio for more than a decade, spending part of that co-hosting mornings with Country Radio Hall of Famer Eddie Edwards on KEBC in the early '90s. "She was an adventure on the air and off the air," says Edwards. "She may have been the best morning show partner ever in radio; beauty and talent combined ... It's a sad day in Radioland." Services are tomorrow (10/16) at 1pm CT at Grace Place Baptist Church, 9300 S. Anderson Rd., Oklahoma City, OK, 73165.
