Blair Pitch Project: As reported earlier via Twitter and Facebook, Cumulus will add America's Morning Show with hosts Blair Garner, Terri Clark and Chuck Wicks, along with entertainment correspondent Erika Grace Powell and HLN anchor Robin Meade, to as many as 19 Nash FM-branded stations Monday (2/10). Though official word isn't expected for a few days, Country Aircheck has learned the show is confirmed for the following stations:
WKDF/Nashville | Nashville Mornings host Becca Walls returns to middays, replacing Darlas Rai, who moves to live nights on sister WSM. That station/daypart has been sweeping music in recent months. Morning co-hosts Marty McFly and Stewart James will remain with the company in other capacities. |
WTNR/Grand Rapids | Morning hosts April Rose and Marty Brooks split as Brooks moves to 'TNR weekends and afternoons on Top 40 sister WHTS; no word on on-air plans for Rose. The duo also handle mornings on Nash sister WFBE/Flint, MI, where Rose is also PD. It's not clear if that station will add AMS. |
WIWF/Charleston, SC | The Jessica & Jay show moves to afternoons, replacing PD Bill West, who moves to middays. Part-time middayer Chris Michaels remains for weekends/swing. |
WHKR/Melbourne, FL | PD/morning host Jim Callahan moves to afternoons, replacing Eric Deniro, who moves to middays. Middays have been jockless. |
WLXX/Lexington, KY | Mornings have been jockless; no changes. |
WXBM/Pensacola, FL | Morning hosts Marty White and Lindsey Marie move to afternoons, replacing Ryan Andrew. No word on plans for Andrew. Local coverage here. |
WPSK/Blacksburg, VA | Replaces the Country Morning Show with Scott Stevens. No word on plans for Stevens. |
WKOS/Tri-Cities, TN | No word on who, if anyone, AMS replaces. |
