Go Figueroa:
Cox's WWKA/Orlando has an opening for a morning co-host to replace Ashley Figueroa, who is relocating to Nashville later this month. "I love the people and the fans [here], but my heart has been in Nashville for quite some time," she says. "I'm ready for my next adventure, whether it be behind the mic or with a record label or management company." Figueroa joined the station two years ago (CAT 3/2/12) after stops at WBTU/Ft. Wayne, IN, WLFW/Evansville, IN and Top 40 WNOU/Indianapolis. Reach her here. WWKA PD JR Schumann tells Country Aircheck, "While we're disappointed to be losing Ashley, we're excited about the opportunity this presents, not only for the morning show, but for the station! If you think you've got what it takes, we want to hear from you now." Airchecks and resumes here.
