Schumann To Cumulus/Dallas:
Cox WWKA/Orlando PD/afternoon personality J.R. Schumann has been named OM of Cumulus/Dallas Country combo KSCS & KPLX. He will also serve as PD for KSCS, a position that has been open since the 2012 departure of Dave Kelley (Breaking News 5/23/2012). Mark Phillips remains as KPLX PD, with Chris Huff staying on as KSCS APD. Schumann's resignation in Orlando (tipped earlier via Facebook and Twitter) leaves programming for that station being handled by OM Stevie DeMann and Cox Country Format Leader Jeff Garrison, who tells Country Aircheck the job will be posted soon. Schumann's last day in Orlando is Friday (3/28); reach him here.
