Garth Goes Digital:

Country Aircheck attended today's (9/4) pre-world tour press conference in Chicago where Pearl/RCA's Garth Brooks unveiled GhostTunes, a new digital music store he founded. For $29.99 for a limited time, fans can buy Brooks' complete existing catalog of music and videos; pre-order his 2014 album and newly announced 2015 album, once available, with the purchase of his new single "People Loving People" and a bonus track "Send 'Em On Down The Road." More info here.

"I wanted a place that just sold entertainment, that took care of the customer," said Brooks. GhostTunes is not a Brooks-only store; it's a mult-genre platform. "[Artists] can come to this site and sell [their music] however they want," he said. "The decision is up to who owns the copyright, which is how it should have always been."
