Shazam and Sun Broadcast Group have partnered to launch Shazam For Radio, a localized platform allowing stations to create customized, interactive content for listeners and advertisers. "Shazam users are already shazaming music on the radio millions of times each day," says Shazam CEO Rich Riley. "Our partnership with Sun gives radio stations the opportunity to deliver customized content experiences to their audiences while creating new revenue streams for the stations and their advertisers." Sun and Shazam will also produce localized, interactive countdown shows across multiple formats based on Shazam results in specific markets. More here.
