Nash Fill: Cumulus Country stations KATC/Colorado Springs, KBUL/Reno and KTOP/Topeka, KS and Top 40 WELJ/New London, CT are the latest to adopt the company's Nash format; WELJ will do so as a simulcast of WNSH/New York. Concurrently, News/Talk WLVK/Lexington, KY and Classic Hits stations WOGT/Chattanooga, TN and WORC/Worcester, MA have adopted the Nash Icon format. The company's Nashville-based America's Morning Show will be added to KTOP Monday (11/3), replacing the United Stations-syndicated Tony & Kris. A company spokesperson says all remaining talent on the affected stations will be retained, though some may change dayparts. "Nash continues to take the country world by storm," says Cumulus EVP/Content & Programming John Dickey. "Nash captures the essence of what it is to be country and Nash Icon is the most exciting new format in radio. Our new Nash and Nash Icon stations are thrilled to be formally associated with these brands." The changes bring the total of Nash-branded stations to 40 and Nash Icon-branded stations to 20.
