In Honor Of Judy: Premiere's The Bobby Bones Show helped raise more than $150,000 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in honor of cast member Amy Brown's mother Judy, who passed away last month after a long battle with cancer (CAT 10/28). Judy was the inspiration behind the program's Pimpin Joy campaign, which encouraged people to perform random acts of kindness. Upon her passing, the family asked that donations be made in her name to St. Jude. The response far surpassed the initial $20,000 goal and the show's cast presented a check to the hospital during a recent visit (pictured). A plaque honoring Brown's mother will be displayed at St. Jude.
