Terry'd Away: Longtime KSCS/Dallas morning personality and Country Radio Hall of Famer Terry Dorsey signed off for good this morning amid a studio full of friends, family and co-workers to George Strait's "The Cowboy Rides Away." Listen to the Dorsey's last hour here, which included a surprise appearance by Cumulus Chairman/CEO Lew Dickey. Dorsey announced his retirement last week and is moving with wife Claudia to Illinois to be close to family (CAT 12/9). OM/PD JR Schumann tells Country Aircheck, "Today was an historic day, not only for Dallas radio but the broadcasting industry as a whole. Terry Dorsey is an icon in our business, and it was plain to see how many lives he's impacted throughout his career.
