House Of Stars: The Grand Ole Opry House has been added to the National Register of Historic Places, the nation’s official list of cultural resources worthy of preservation. It was chosen because of its impact on popular culture and the entertainment industry. The honor comes just before the nine-month celebration of the Opry's 90th Anniversary, which kicks off March 24.
