Big D To Honor Fallen Soldier: Big D of Compass/Silverfish's Big D and Bubba will recognize a fallen soldier from his hometown when he accepts his ACM award for National Personality of the Year this weekend in Dallas. On a recent visit to Edwards Air Force Base in Palmdale, CA, the two were presented with dog tags, each featuring the face of a fallen soldier. U.S. Marine LCpl Lance Clark, who was killed in Iraq in 2007, was featured on Big D's tag, and he met Clark's parents recently to give them tags as well. Big D will wear his dog tag as he accepts his award.
