Cornbread Retires:
Hubbard WIL/St. Louis morning host Cornbread will end his nearly 11-year run with Cornbread's World's Largest Farewell Pajama Party Friday (4/24). As tipped via Hot Air last summer (CAT 8/18), he's retiring to spend more time with his wife and daughter and to pursue other interests. The party in the city's downtown Ballpark Village will feature breakfast, Cornbread's favorite beverage "Natty Light," photos and videos from his time with the station, and surprise guests. Cornbread joined WIL in 2004 following stints in Wichita, Tyler, TX and Temple, TX. He started his radio career in Palm Springs, CA. Reach him here until Friday. PD Greg Mozingo says a new morning show will be revealed soon.
